As a DaTS Service Demand Lead, you will play a key role in aligning demand and capacity across Enterprise Architecture, the PMO and Technical Services; shaping roadmaps, forecasting resourcing needs, and keeping stakeholders sighted on upcoming projects and priorities.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the DaTS Demand Management model ensuring data is accurate through the full request lifecycle and partnering with the wider Strategy and Transformation directorate.
- Define standards and integrations for demand items, status updates and dashboards, design customised views that surface actionable insights.
- Provide a clear first point of contact for stakeholders on systems, timelines and resource availability; maintain visibility of upcoming projects and assignments.
- Maintain key Enterprise Architecture artefacts (eg Applications Catalogue) and curate the Business Partner Repository in SharePoint with robust version control.
- Support Technical Governance meetings: forward plans, agendas, minutes and action logs; issuing materials before and after meetings.
- Identify and deliver process improvements and automation that streamline demand management and enhance customer experience.
- Champion best practice and governance, representing the Strategy and Transformation team across the Council.
- Proactive, highly organised and detail‑driven; comfortable working independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills: able to translate complex concepts for different audiences and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical, lateral and critical thinking skills; experienced in project/programme governance and the technology systems lifecycle.
- Confident using Project management tools, Office 365 (including SharePoint) and Power Platform.
- Experienced in arranging meetings and producing agendas, minutes and action logs; calm under pressure with effective prioritisation.
- Degree/qualification or equivalent experience; PRINCE2/APM/MSO/PMP desirable; evidence of continuous professional development.
