We are looking for an experienced communications professional to become our Communications and Marketing Business Partner for Adult Social Care. Must have skills in media relations, creative thinking and experience in developing and delivering compelling communication and marketing campaigns. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape the approach and work with senior officers and elected members.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the wider Communications and Marketing team goals and help raise the team’s profile within the organisation
- Lead key council communications and marketing campaigns
- Develop proactive media relations to showcase Council services and projects
- Plan and evaluate campaigns
- Create content
- Organise and run press and promotional events
- Monitor media and handle media issues
