Lead a Specialist Occupational Therapy Team – Advanced Practitioner. Lead, influence and shape high-quality Occupational Therapy practice within a dynamic and complex service. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our Complex Occupational Therapy Service as an Advanced Practitioner. This is a unique opportunity to work across the life course – supporting disabled children, young people in transition, and adults with learning disabilities or mental health needs.
Our service provides essential equipment and adaptations to enable individuals to live safely and independently in their own homes. As an advanced practitioner, you will play a key role in leading practice, supporting staff development, and driving quality across the team.
About the job:
- You will lead the day-to-day practice of Occupational Therapists within the complex team, providing clear direction, support and guidance.
- Working closely with the Team Manager, you will:
- Lead and develop high-quality, strengths-based practice
- Allocate and prioritise work to ensure effective caseload management
- Deliver reflective supervision, mentoring and professional development
- Support newly qualified staff to build confidence and capability
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality assurance
About You:
If you are an experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong background in complex casework and a passion for high-quality, person-centred practice, this role is perfect for you. You will bring:
- Significant post-qualification experience (including complex needs)
