Caretaker/Cleaner combined role – Rowley View Nursery School. This combined role equates to 25 hours per week during term time and 10 hours per week outside of term time.

Location: 149 Dangerfield Lane, Wednesbury, Walsall, WS10 7RU

Caretaking Duties (Part‑time – 10 hours per week)

  • Grade 5, £14.82 – £16.07 per hour, 52 weeks per year.
  • 6:00 am – 7:00 am (Mon–Fri)
  • 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm (Mon–Fri)

Cleaning Duties (Part‑time – 15 hours per week)

  • Grade 2, £13.05 per hour, 39 weeks per year.
  • 7:00 am – 8:00 am (Mon–Fri)
  • 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm (Mon–Fri)

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain security of school buildings and grounds.
  • Perform general portage, minor decorating and DIY activities.
  • Carry out cleaning duties to keep the school clean and presentable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Previous caretaking or premises‑management experience.
  • Ability to work split shifts during term time and be flexible during holidays.

Additional Information:

  • Completion of a DBS check may be a requirement of this post.
  • This post is covered by the Government’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers.
