We are seeking a friendly and professional Centre Assistant to join our team at Darlaston Swimming and Fitness Centre. This front-line role is vital in ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers and supporting the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Handle payments for services in line with financial procedures
- Assist customers with enquiries in person, via email, and over the phone
- Perform routine administrative tasks
- Control access to facilities following operating procedures
- Operate office and ICT equipment
- Enter data into ICT management systems
- Maintain a safe environment for staff and customers
- Support coordination of swimming lesson programmes
- Assist with promotional activities within the centre
- Communicate effectively with customers in spoken English
- Applicants appointed to posts that require an enhanced DBS clearance must declare any periods of time that they have lived, studied or worked abroad and be prepared to provide an Overseas Criminal Records Certificate (OCRC) or a Statement of Good Conduct (SOGC) relating to any time they were overseas.
