Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and committed leisure professionals to join our valued and supportive team to help us achieve our goal of \”More People, More Active, More Often\”. We require Recreation Assistants in our leisure centres, to work on a casual basis. You will be part of a team that is highly motivated, providing leisure facilities for the local community.

Responsibilities

  • Setting up and down of equipment
  • Supervising pools in a lifeguard capacity
  • Preparing for functions, events and galas
  • Helping customers with enquiries
  • Assisting customers in participation of activities ensuring safety at all times
  • General cleaning duties

Qualifications

  • Experience in the service industry
  • Up-to-date RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification — attach a copy with your application

Additional information

You will be expected to be available to work days, evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required. This post is covered by the Government\’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.
