Job Summary

The Division of Community Services are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide comprehensive business and administrative support to the Care Group Management Team ensuring effective performance monitoring, service development and operational delivery. The successful candidate will have experience of preparing high-quality reports, dashboards and presentations along with the ability to extract and analyse data from a variety of sources. Good communication and organisational skills are essential in order to arrange and participate in meetings and liaise with clinicians and stakeholders. Main Duties of the Job

  • To support the Care Group Management Team by inputting and extracting data from a number of sources in the development of dashboards, reports and governance updates
  • To ensure the Care Group Management Team are fully prepared for meetings with supporting paperwork and data
  • To manage the development and implementation of neighbourhood teams / community clinics including setting up appointment systems for patients / service users
  • Support business development and project management relating to transformation and service redesign
  • Develop partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure robust escalation processes are in place to assist with the delivery/sustainability of performance targets/standards within areas of responsibility and ensure that teams are aware of their responsibilities in relation to adhering to such processes.
  • Provide professional/developmental support to administrative staff across the Care Group

Job Description

The role of this position is to support the Care Group Management team in the delivery and monitoring of operational performance ensuring adherence to local and national targets. In addition, you will be required to ensure that processes within the care group pathways and quality indicators are being met. This will involve working with various levels of personnel in order to ensure that deadlines are met. The Support Officer will be required to liaise with senior clinicians to ensure continuity of service and implementation of agreed local, trust wide and national protocols and procedures. The postholder will also be required to ensure that robust escalation processes are in place to assist with the delivery/sustainability of performance targets/standards within areas of responsibility and ensure that teams are aware of their responsibilities in relation to adhering to such processes.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Degree level qualification in relevant subject or equivalent knowledge skills and experience
  • Qualification in IT packages, ECDL or equivalent
