Walsall Service for Adolescents
Our Walsall Right 4 Children programme, driving the delivery of our Children\’s Services vision, is aimed at ensuring the right children are in the right place with the right support for as long as it is needed so they are safe from harm, happy and learning well.
We are currently recruiting for the following position
Adolescent Service Hub Worker- Ref CH06025

1 x Permanent Position
Turning Point is a specialist Service for Adolescents that has been developed in order to provide an effective response to young people who have complex needs and are at risk of family breakdown.
The Service supports adolescents aged 8-18 and focuses on intensive work with young people and their families supporting family strengths and relationships, challenging and disrupting harm to children in and outside of the family home. We have a strong core belief in the development of assets, capability and community in the lives of young people, building both individual and social resilience.
We are seeking an experienced intensive family support worker who is adaptable and flexible and feels passionate about working with young people with complex needs and their family with a focus on keeping families together.
The delivery model for the Service for Adolescents:
We will be delivering our service through the Ambit model, our focus being Mentalisation as the core way of working in the service. We are a multi-disciplinary Team that consists of hub workers and clinical specialists. These include Speech and Language Therapists.
