Overview

We are seeking an experienced intensive family support worker who is adaptable and flexible and feels passionate about working with young people with complex needs and their family with a focus on keeping families together.

This post is covered by the Government\’s Code of Practice on the English Language Fluency Duty for public sector workers. The post holder will be required to communicate verbally with customers and provide advice and/or information in accurate spoken English.

About Turning Point

Turning Point is a specialist Service for Adolescents that has been developed in order to provide an effective response to young people who have complex needs and are at risk of family breakdown.

The Service supports adolescents aged 8-18 and focuses on intensive work with young people and their families supporting family strengths and relationships, challenging and disrupting harm to children in and outside of the family home. We have a strong core belief in the development of assets, capability and community in the lives of young people, building both individual and social resilience.
