Hourly Paid Lecturer in Health & Social Care (Adult)

Walsall College is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Hourly Paid Lecturer in Health & Social Care (Adult) to join our Adult, Foundation and Community Learning team.

You will deliver engaging and inclusive teaching, support learners to achieve outstanding outcomes, and contribute to a positive learning environment that helps students develop the skills and confidence to succeed in work and life.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience delivering Health & Social Care teaching and learning in Further Education or a similar setting.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
  • Strong communication, organisation and learner support skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
  • Support learners' academic progress and personal development.
  • Develop course materials and assessment plans.
  • Promote achievement, attendance, retention and positive learner outcomes.
