The predicted salary is between 30000 - 42000 £ per year.

The Link will be a multi-service centre, designed to empower and support the residents of Walsall on their journey to employment. It will be a one-stop shop for individuals aged 16 and over, to access a wealth of resources and personalised mentoring from a diverse group of service providers, all within a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment.

A unique initiative, based in Walsall town centre, supporting key Government drivers such as Skills for Jobs, Levelling Up, and the Towns Fund. The facility will host and collaborate with key partners including the National Careers Service, University of Wolverhampton, Department for Work and Pensions, Walsall Council, Walsall Housing Group, and others.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to make a difference by working with community members to build employability skills and break down barriers to learning and employment.

You will be expected to:

  1. Provide initial advice and guidance in a friendly and supportive manner to determine personalised support for customers.
  2. Offer mentoring and deliver engaging non-accredited employability sessions through Walsall College to prepare adults for formal learning and employment.

This role suits someone with excellent communication skills, who can build positive relationships and work flexibly and collaboratively to facilitate access to work and skills for centre customers.
