We have an exciting opportunity for a receptionist. The applicant MUST have experience in General practice to join our friendly team of forward thinking General Practice Staff. We are a high performing practice with high QOF achievement and rated CQC Good in all areas in 2019. The role allows part time working and has some flexibility in the hours worked and will allow the candidate to maintain an effective work life balance.
For current GP receptionists with significant additional experience we are likely to be able to offer a further pay rise from your current salary to be above that advertised and hence salary can be above that stated in the advert.
Main duties of the job:- Experience of working in a General Practice is essential as is experience of SystmOne computer use.
- Any particular experience of GP back office duties will be advantageous such as referrals, PCSE etc.
We are a rapidly expanding practice. This allows a supportive friendly, team based atmosphere and an opportunity for the right candidate to combine an interesting professional career with their own outside interests while maintaining a good work life balance. Continuing professional development will be supported. The hours are flexible with an obvious need to meet the needs of the practice and patients.
Job responsibilities:This is a reception/administrative post but we require someone who is able to start early at 8 am and finish at 6.30pm depending on rota. Total hours 30 hours. Will require to work on Saturday rota.
Qualifications:- Good knowledge of maths and English.
- Other languages would be useful but not necessary.
- Ability to use computers essential.
- Experience of a receptionist/administrative role within General Practice would be highly desirable.
£12.21 to £14 an hour; £12.21 if limited GP experience - otherwise pay negotiable.
