Are you looking for a job that offers more responsibility, more pay and more opportunity? As an hourly supervisor you are responsible for an entire area of the store. Associates in your area will look to you for leadership direction, training and support. You are accountable for merchandise availability, department standards and financial performance of your area. You will have the full support of your fellow team leads, coaches and store manager. Walmart offers additional specialized training through local Walmart Academies to teach you everything from leadership skills to running your department.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction by greeting customers and answering questions
  • Tour the area to ensure it meets customer expectations
  • Work with team associates to complete tasks effectively
  • Prepare and plan for upcoming events that will impact the area
  • Communicate effectively and translate direction at all levels into action
  • Use basic math skills to maintain accurate inventory levels

Wage and Schedule

The hourly wage range for this position is $16.00 to $36.00. The actual rate will meet or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Premiums may be paid in certain circumstances (e.g., based on schedule or work performed).
