Position Summary

Drive sales and financial performance in the Auto Care Center and service area by receiving and stocking merchandise, ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, and inventory levels. Conduct budgeting and forecasting sales, assess economic trends and community needs, and implement plans to correct deficiencies to achieve sales and profit goals. Provide customer service and assistance by acknowledging customers, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving issues, and promoting products while maintaining a safe shopping environment. Create and process customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies and procedures. Explain Auto Care Center and automotive products and services, ensuring technicians are trained and certified on service‑related procedures and staging customer vehicles. Maintain the Auto Care Center and automotive sales floor and service area by stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or outdated goods, setting up cleaning and organizing product displays, signing and pricing merchandise, securing fragile and high‑shrink merchandise, maintaining equipment, handling customer and merchandise claims and returns, zoning the area, ordering, arranging and organizing merchandise, and monitoring the Auto Care Center for environmental disposal, OSHA compliance, and customer safety and satisfaction.

  • Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs, identifying and communicating goals and objectives, building accountability, measuring progress, identifying improvement opportunities, and promoting continuous learning.
  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity, implement related action plans, support the Open Door Policy, and guide applying these in executing business processes.
  • Build high‑performing teams, embrace diversity, create a workplace where associates feel supported and connected, and create opportunities for all associates to thrive.

Compensation

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $80,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses and may also include: Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location) Complex Structure (based on external factors that create challenges) State Pay Differential: This job has an additional differential to meet legislative requirements, where applicable.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years experience in automotive service or service industry field.
  • 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Associate must attend and successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Automotive Certification from Automotive Technical Institute.
  • Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
  • Experience in automotive service or service industry‑related field.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • ASE Certification.
