The HSEQ Coordinator is responsible for assisting the HSEQ manager in all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality for the Southampton facilities. This includes ensuring there are effective and efficient processes and procedures in place in accordance with the WWS management system (WoW) and the requirements of the terminals ISO certifications.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support and assist the HSEQ Manager in the day-to-day departmental duties.
- Carry out audits and active monitoring on WWS departments and facilities to ensure legal compliance and serviceability.
- Liaise with relevant staff, partners and suppliers to ensure issues are reported, rectified and standards maintained ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/14001 and 45001 standards.
- Support the HSEQ Manager with the annual renewal process for all HSEQ documentation required for the document review, ISO audits and Management review process.
- Assist the HSEQ manager with external and internal ISO audits.
- Ensure the Leadership team at all levels are kept up to date on latest legal, procedural or industrial trends.
- Liaise with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as required and assist with the legal reporting process where necessary.
- Assist in the maintenance of and production of legal documentation, such as The Environmental Aspects Register, The Environmental Risk Register, the Health and Safety Legal Register and Facility Stakeholder Analysis.
- Assist with all Terminal procurements and quotes in line with GAP and GAM requirements and prepare documents for SMT approval such as Safety reports, Active monitoring reports, Incident reports, weekly safety cross, Legionella checks, and fire alarm tests.
- Prepare HSEQ department reports as and when required (for example, KPIs, FUEL USE, ACCIDENTS etc).
- Carry out checks on WWS facilities to ensure legal compliance and serviceability.
- Liaise with relevant suppliers to ensure issues are reported, rectified and standards maintained.
- Check, code and approve invoices for all items ordered and within area of responsibility.
- Provide ad-hoc HSEQ administrative support as and when required.
- Act as an Ambassador for the business at all times by acting as mentor/guide and setting a good example to others.
- Assist the HSEQ manager or other regional HSEQ managers in audit support, either in person or remotely.
- Deputise for the HSEQ Supervisor as required.

- NEBOSH Environmental management qualification.
- Qualified in ISO auditing.
