We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional Dispensing Optician to join our expanding, patient-focussed team at Wallace Opticians, which has successfully served the Whitburn community for over 55 years. You will be a valued and important member of our friendly team. We pride ourselves on prioritising high-quality patient care within our well-established independent practice.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering a high level of patient care and tailored dispensing
  • Building relationships with patients and offering a personalised service
  • Uphold the highest standard of patient care, prioritising patient comfort and trust
  • Work collaboratively with our supportive practice team to surpass patient expectations
  • Providing expert advice on frame styling, lens options and other vision solutions
  • Engage in continuous professional development to remain at the forefront of the field
  • Taking an active role in helping to develop the rest of the team and overseeing dispensing standards

What we need you to bring to our team:

  • We’re looking for a Dispensing Optician who is confident, compassionate, and always focused on doing the right thing for patients
  • GOC registered
