We are currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join the client's team in Dublin. This is a permanent role in a friendly and dynamic company that offers excellent opportunities for career development, supported by a structured mentoring system. As part of our close-knit team, you will work on a broad range of projects across multiple sectors, including Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, Industrial, Pharma, and Data Centres.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver a variety of projects from concept to completion in conjunction with the wider team.
- Design mechanical services for a range of projects, ensuring adherence to all relevant guidelines, regulations, and standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of Junior Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Engage directly with clients, representing the company in client-facing roles.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years' of post-graduate experience in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services.
- Level 8/9 degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering/Building Services with a strong background in design engineering.
- Chartered Engineering status or working towards it is an advantage.
- Experience in designing mechanical services for Healthcare, Residential, Education, Commercial, and Industrial projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit MEP and Building Services Design Software (e.g., IES, Hevacomp).
- Strong knowledge of Energy-Efficient Design and renewable energy solutions.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full current driver's license and access to your own vehicle.
