You will lead manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and develop a high-performing production team. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for increasing productivity, improving quality, reducing costs, and supporting future growth through investment in automation and new technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the production team to improve performance and efficiency.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Implement automated production techniques and oversee new equipment installations.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and promote a strong safety culture.
- Maintain high quality standards and adherence to quality systems.
- Monitor and report on production performance, costs, and KPIs.
Essential Criteria:
- Proven Production Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Experience driving productivity improvements and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety and quality management systems.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologies.
- Engineering or manufacturing qualification.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement training.
