We are currently seeking to recruit a Maintenance Supervisor to join a highly regulated manufacturing organisation in the Newry and Mourne area. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving plant reliability, minimising downtime and ensuring maintenance activities meet strict quality, safety and regulatory standards. The role offers either continental shift patterns or a permanent night shift option.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate and prioritise daily activities for a multi-disciplinary maintenance team (mechanical, electrical and electronic).
  • Ensure all facilities, utilities and production equipment remain compliant with GMP and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee preventative, corrective and predictive maintenance to maximise uptime and asset reliability.
  • Drive high standards of workmanship, safety, documentation and audit readiness through the CMMS system.
  • Plan maintenance activities in collaboration with production to minimise operational disruption.
  • Manage permits, contractors, risk assessments and method statements for maintenance works.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, safety, quality and accountability across the team.
  • Monitor KPIs including downtime, PM compliance and response times.

Criteria

  • Trade-qualified in electrical, electronic, mechanical or a related discipline.
