Overview
We\’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-paced food production environment on the night shift. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring smooth operations and minimal downtime across production lines. You\’ll be part of a dedicated engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Manager, and working in a modern, high-performing facility.
Responsibilities
- Deliver reactive and preventative maintenance to support night shift operations
- Promote and maintain a strong health & safety culture
- Monitor compliance with statutory and internal safety standards
- Manage engineering spares and consumables
- Support continuous improvement and automation initiatives
- Ensure customer and quality standards are consistently met
Criteria
- Minimum 3 years\’ experience in an FMCG or chilled environment
- Apprenticeship trained with strong preventative maintenance knowledge
- Familiar with online maintenance systems
- Confident working with external service providers and adapting to change
