A well-established food manufacturing site in County Tyrone is expanding its engineering function and is now seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a high-performing technical team. This is a hands-on, site-based role where you'll play a key part in keeping modern production lines running efficiently, safely and reliably.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day electrical maintenance across production and site services
- Respond to equipment faults and breakdowns, minimising downtime and disruption
- Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on manufacturing and packaging machinery
- Assist with electrical installations, upgrades and improvement projects
- Work closely with engineering colleagues, production teams and external contractors
- Contribute to continuous improvement, efficiency and energy-reduction initiatives
- Operate in line with health & safety, food safety and compliance standards
Criteria
- Electrical apprenticeship or relevant electrical engineering qualification
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment (food, FMCG or similar ideal)
- Comfortable fault-finding on electrical and control systems
- A proactive, practical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Able to work well as part of a team and communicate clearly across departments
- Flexible approach to shifts and on-site working requirements
