The Role

As Senior Architect, you will take a key leadership role within the practice, working across concept development, design delivery, client engagement, and multidisciplinary coordination. You will help shape high profile, technically challenging projects while guiding teams and influencing design quality across the studio. Working within an open, supportive, and collaborative environment, you will:

  • Lead the design and delivery of medium large scale projects from early concept to completion
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and manage client relationships
  • Oversee technical information, ensuring regulatory compliance and design integrity
  • Mentor and support junior and mid level team members
  • Champion design excellence and contribute to best practice standards across the office
  • Regularly attend site to review progress and resolve technical queries
  • Contribute to strategic studio development as part of a growing senior team

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered for this role, applicants should demonstrate:

  • Registered Architect with a minimum of 7 years post qualification experience
  • Proven experience delivering complex projects, ideally in sectors such as healthcare, education, public buildings or large scale civic environments (desirable, not essential)
  • Confidence leading design teams and managing client engagement
  • Strong design ability combined with robust technical knowledge
  • Proficiency in Revit (essential)
  • Solid understanding of Building Regulations and CDM requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
