The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Technologist to join a busy project team, translating design concepts into detailed technical solutions and ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of constructability, performance, and compliance.

You'll report to a Senior Architect / Architectural Technologist or Associate, coordinating technical drawings and specifications and resolving design and detailing challenges across all project stages.

There is scope to progress to based on performance, leadership, and technical capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce technically sound architectural deliverables; drawings, specifications, and schedules, using Revit, BIM 360, and Auto CAD.
  • Coordinate design with other disciplines and ensure all work conforms to standards and is buildable.
  • Produce sketch and conceptual design material, including presentation content, under senior direction.
  • Contribute to the development of architectural standards and solutions.
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal colleagues.
  • Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
  • Liaise with Project Managers and Contract Administrators.
  • Undertake site visits, including occasional overseas travel, to provide construction, technical, and architectural support.
  • Mentor junior team members and support the wider project team.

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Architectural Technology, or an industry‑related equivalent.
  • Circa 3 years' post-qualified experience; CIAT membership (or equivalent national/international registration) desirable. Working on larger scale projects in the UK or Ireland.
  • Working knowledge of current Building Regulations and their application, including in an international context.
  • Strong technical knowledge of building materials, construction methods, and regulatory compliance.
  • Confident, self-motivated, and comfortable managing your own workload within a collaborative team environment.
  • An excellent communicator, able to work effectively with stakeholders at every level.

Years of experience are a guideline only, greater weight will be placed on your proven ability to demonstrate and deliver in the role.
