JOB DESCRIPTION
Clinical Nurse Advisor / Clinical Applications Specialist – Critical Care, Intensive Care, Ventilators.
The role involves visiting customer sites (hospitals) across a wide territory, providing clinical support and training for our ventilator products.
Occasional visits to the Midlands Headquarters are required and the candidate must be comfortable with travel.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Deliver the customer training plan across appropriate hospital segments, transferring knowledge and empowering customers to use our ventilators effectively.
- Comply with mandatory training and attend local and overseas training programmes as required.
- Collaborate with senior management, clinical, marketing and distributor teams to develop innovative activities that achieve sales targets and differentiate us from competitors.
- Maintain and develop relationships with KOLs and key clinical and economic stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors’ products, activities and strategies in the market.
- Execute specific customer development and training programmes by providing full clinical education and support for the ventilators in hospital accounts, including conducting clinical trials and direct patient bedside training.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Critical Care background – beneficial.
- Registered nurse with ICU/CCU education who has worked with ventilated patients (or a willingness to train).
- Strong knowledge of ventilation strategies for different patient categories.
- Ability to build strong relationships quickly.
- Capacity to gain in‑depth product and procedural knowledge linked to an understanding of the acute and critical care sector.
- Effective communication with all key stakeholders within ICU, Emergency Room & wards.
- Self‑disciplined, organised, and takes ownership and responsibility for business objectives and project execution.
- Ability to positively influence thinking, behaviour and gain end user commitment.
- Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook.
- Full and clean driving licence.
- Ability to articulate key product messaging to increase customer compliance with our technology and drive care strategies that improve patient outcomes.
