A rare opportunity for a Service Engineer to join a global market leading manufacturer of end of line robotic packaging machinery used in the food and pharmaceutical markets. There is a great package on offer and is a company where people stay for a long time.
BASIC SALARY Up to £50,000

LOCATION Home based and ideally living within 1.5 hours of Birmingham, but you will be covering the whole UK.

JOB DESCRIPTION Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Electronic Engineer – packaging machinery, robotic systems – food, pharmaceutical. This is a classic Field Service Engineer role, where you will be spending 6 nights per month staying away from home on average, and covering 1 weekend in 4. The work that you are expected to undertake is a mixture of repairs, upgrades and installations.
PERSON SPECIFICATION You will be an experienced Field Service Engineer with hands on knowledge of packaging machinery used in the food and/or pharmaceutical markets. Any specific experience of robotics systems would be advantageous. You MUST be a qualified Electrical/Electronic Engineer with hands on mechanical engineering experience and ideally specific experience working with Siemens PLCs.
