Are you an experienced Refrigeration Engineer who can provide support on environmental systems and equipment for major automotive, aerospace, electronics, pharmaceutical and scientific sites across Oxfordshire? Why you should apply: · As our Field Service Engineer, you will be paid door to door, covering Oxfordshire. You will be working Monday – Friday, with great hours (08:00-16:30 standard) – rare in the refrigeration industry. JOB DESCRIPTION: Field Service Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer, Electrical Engineer – F GAS As our Field Service Engineer, you’ll be working as part of one of the largest environmental service teams in the UK, usually covering a 30 -120 minute radius of Oxford. So you know you will be home most nights. On rare occasions you may be asked to help further afield to cover holiday / sickness. But only in extreme circumstances. You will usually working on one job per day, service / maintenance, calibration or reactive breakdown and diagnostics work covering controllers, refrigeration circuits issues, electrical components and PLC updates. You will be led by an experienced hands-on Service Manager who joined the business as an apprentice many years ago and has developed through the service team. PERSON SPECIFICATION: Field Service Engineer, Refrigeration Engineer, Electrical Engineer – F GAS As our Field Service Engineer, you will: · Be competent, electrically and mechanically, on suitable refrigeration circuits and climatic systems · Be happy with some installation work, but predominately service and diagnostics · Competent working alone or as part of a team (post your product and systems training) · Be electrically qualified, ideally 17th / 18th Edition and have your FGAS & ODS Regs 2079 · Have practical work experience covering commercial / industrial refrigeration, chillers or similar If you have Cascade experience – that would be very advantageous THE COMPANY: We are a Global manufacturer of Environmental Test Chambers, covering off the shelf products and bespoke solutions.
