One of the world's leading partners for retailers and brands alike is looking for a UK focused HR Manager / People and Culture Manager. Tasked with driving the future of the UK operations, you'll be a thought leader, and someone prepared to challenge the status quo. A HR professional who has introduced a variety of people-focused initiatives both in attraction and retention.
BASIC SALARY: £50,000 - £60,000

Location: A Hybrid role with 4 days at Head Office, which is in Hertfordshire, monthly/quarterly visits to other sites which are in Buckinghamshire, Yorkshire and Newcastle.
Commutable locations: Travel will be required; therefore, flexibility goes both ways, that said, Milton Keynes, St. Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Aylesbury, Luton, Dunstable, Watford, High Wycombe, or Stevenage would all be ideal.

Role Purpose: HR Manager / People & Culture Manager - Manufacturing To implement strategic people and culture initiatives that align with global business needs, whilst being tailored to the demands of the UK. Having a voice at the top table, you'll own and drive the people agenda, be a key part of it, and work closely with the SLT to not only provide council and advice, but to ensure a consistent message to the wider business.
Key tasks:
- Reporting to the VP of People and Culture, you'll draw down global initiatives and implement them at a local level.
- Supporting c250 colleagues across 4 sites, you'll be visible and approachable, engaging with the shop floor through to the UK's senior leadership team.
- Oversee HR operations for a team of 2, providing guidance and support to ensure effective service delivery.
- Manage employee relations cases, fostering a positive and approachable environment.
- Play a key role in various side projects such as, employee engagement surveys, vendor management, policy & process creation/reviews, HR/Payroll system and benefits offerings.
Person specification: HR Manager / People & Culture Manager - Manufacturing You'll have previously championed people, culture, and well-being, and consistently generated methods to engage with, promote, train, and develop a workforce. You'll be fully CIPD qualified (preferably MCIPD), with commercial, business partnering approach, you'll have an inquisitive nature for change, and you'll be well versed in staying up to date with new technology / methodologies.
Most likely you will have:
- A proven track record across a variety of industries, although most likely from a manufacturing environment.
- A commercial approach to HR ensuring the balance between operational needs and people wellness.
- The ability to demonstrate initiatives you have implemented and the results they have produced.
- Experienced a stand-alone or multisite role, with c150/200+ employees, with some exposure to a global/corporate organisation.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Law, along with Mergers & Acquisitions with a particular focus on transitional change, TUPE transfer and integration.
