Founded in 2004 by experienced investment bankers, Wall Street Prep (WSP) is a leading provider of financial services training. Our instructor-led and online programs empower finance professionals and students by bridging the gap between academic knowledge and real-world application. With a diverse client base that includes top investment banks, corporate and commercial banks, private equity firms, and prestigious business schools, we are committed to equipping individuals with the practical skills they need to thrive in their careers.

We are seeking a Professional Skills Instructor with deep expertise in sales, relationship management, and client engagement—and the versatility to deliver high-impact training across a range of core professional, communication, and leadership skills. In this role, you will facilitate engaging, practical training sessions that help financial professionals elevate their strategic dialogue with C-suite clients, strengthen cross-selling acumen across Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB) products, and build trusted, value-driven relationships. In addition, you will help participants enhance their communication, presentation, leadership, management, and personal brand-building capabilities—skills that drive performance and presence in client-facing and leadership contexts. This is an ideal opportunity for dynamic professionals who are passionate about teaching, enjoy engaging diverse audiences, and want to enhance their visibility as thought leaders in the finance industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead dynamic, high-impact training sessions across professional, leadership, and client-facing skills for audiences in corporate and investment banking, financial institutions, and business schools.
  • Design and deliver workshops on topics such as relationship management, consultative sales, strategic client dialogue, executive communication, presentation excellence, and leadership development.
  • Customize and tailor content to align with specific client needs, industries, and strategic priorities—ensuring that training is highly relevant and actionable.
  • Coach and inspire participants to elevate their executive presence, influence, and professional effectiveness in both internal and client-facing interactions.
  • Represent Wall Street Prep as a trusted partner and subject matter expert in professional and leadership skills development.

Requirements

  • Experience in corporate or investment banking, ideally in a client-facing role such as Relationship Manager, Coverage Banker, or Corporate Finance professional.
  • Strong understanding of CIB product offerings (lending, capital markets, M&A, cash management) and how bankers create value through strategic client dialogue.
  • Demonstrated experience in learning & development, corporate communications, or professional coaching within financial services is preferred.
  • Energetic facilitation style with a passion for teaching, mentoring, and developing professionals at all levels.
  • Strong command of core professional skills, including communication, leadership, presentation, influence, and personal brand development.
  • MBA from a top business school preferred but not required.
  • Availability to conduct classroom training Monday–Friday, with occasional weekend sessions.
  • Commitment to facilitating a minimum of 15 training days annually.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive daily rate.
  • All travel and accommodation expenses covered by Wall Street Prep.
