Position Overview

We are seeking an engaging and experienced Global Markets Instructor to deliver live, instructor‑led training programs focused on sales & trading and global financial markets. In this role, you will prepare participants for careers across global markets by translating complex products, market dynamics, and trading concepts into clear, practical instruction. This position offers the opportunity to sharpen your presentation and public speaking skills, establish yourself as a thought leader in financial markets education, and expand your professional network across the finance industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate live, instructor‑led global markets training sessions (in‑person and virtual) for:
    • Undergraduate and MBA business programs
    • Investment banks, hedge funds, and other financial institutions
  • Teach core concepts across sales & trading, market structure, products, and risk management, with an emphasis on real‑world application.
  • Customize delivery to different audiences, experience levels, and market regions.
  • Complete WSP’s Train-the-Trainer Program, a professional development initiative for new instructors, within the first four weeks of onboarding.

Professional Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales & Trading or Global Markets roles at a top‑tier bank, hedge fund, or institutional investment firm.
  • Experience must span two or more asset classes, such as:
    • Rates / Interest Rates
    • Credit (Investment Grade, High Yield, Corporate Bonds)
    • Equity Derivatives
    • Emerging Markets
    • Securitized Products (ABS, CLOs, structured products)
    • Cross‑asset products
  • Relevant roles may include:
    • Trader / Trading
    • Quantitative Researcher / Quant
  • Passion for Teaching: Strong enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and knowledge‑sharing. Prior teaching, training, or client‑facing presentation experience is highly desirable but not required.
  • Commitment to Training: Availability to conduct a minimum of 15 days of training per year.
  • Seasonal availability expectations:
    • Summer: Monday–Friday availability required
    • Fall/Spring: Weekday and weekend availability preferred
  • Willingness to teach:
    • Week‑long intensive programs
    • Multi‑week or modular programs

Location & Mobility

  • Must be based in the United States or the United Kingdom.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
