Position Overview
We are seeking an engaging and experienced Capital Markets Instructor to deliver live, instructor‑led training programs focused on Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM). In this role, you will prepare participants for careers in capital markets by translating deal execution, market dynamics, and investor‑driven processes into clear, practical instruction. This position is ideal for professionals with hands‑on experience in raising capital through public markets who are passionate about teaching and developing the next generation of finance professionals. You will help bridge the gap between traditional investment banking skillsets and real‑world capital markets execution. Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate live, instructor‑led capital markets training sessions (in‑person and virtual) for:
- Undergraduate and MBA business programs
- Investment banks, asset managers, and other financial institutions
- IPOs, follow‑ons, and convertible offerings
- Investment‑grade and high‑yield debt issuance
- Leveraged loans and syndicated financing
- Market timing, investor demand, and pricing dynamics
- Bookbuilding, allocation, and deal execution processes
- Coordination between investment banking, sales & trading, and investors
- Roadshow preparation and execution
- Market comparables and issuance strategy

Requirements
Professional Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Equity Capital Markets (ECM), Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Leveraged Finance, or Syndicate at a top‑tier investment bank or financial institution
- Demonstrated experience working on live transactions, such as:
- IPOs and equity follow‑ons
- Convertible offerings
- Investment‑grade and high‑yield bond issuances
- Leveraged loans and syndicated deals
- Capital markets dynamics and investor demand
- Pricing, bookbuilding, and allocation processes
- Market comparables and issuance strategy
- ECM or DCM Associate / Vice President
- Leveraged Finance or Syndicate professional
- Investment Banking professional with strong capital markets exposure
Passion for Teaching
- Strong enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring, and knowledge‑sharing
- Prior teaching, training, or client‑facing presentation experience is highly desirable but not required
Commitment to Training
- Availability to conduct a minimum of 15 days of training per year
- Seasonal availability expectations:
- Summer: Monday–Friday availability required
- Fall/Spring: Weekday and weekend availability preferred
- Week‑long intensive programs
- Multi‑week or modular programs
Location & Mobility
- Must be based in the United States or the United Kingdom
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
