We have an exciting opportunity for an Export Warehouse Operative to join our Elgin team. Your main focus will be receiving and storing all of our finished goods in line with our Company guidelines. This is a permanent role, working 38 hours (12pm - 8.30pm Monday to Thursday and 12pm - 6.30pm Friday).

Responsibilities

  • Driving forklifts (following training), including carrying out daily forklift safety checks and reporting defects when needed
  • Manual handling
  • Handling pallets and individual cases of products with care
  • Racking and de-racking pallets of products using our Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Preparing customer orders accurately, taking time and care to build products in a safe and stable manner and ensuring any special customer requirements are met
  • Ensuring stock is correctly rotated
  • Loading and unloading trailers and containers
  • Carrying out stock checks
  • Completing paperwork accurately and efficiently
  • Ensuring good housekeeping and health and safety at all times, maintaining safe working practices and carrying out cleaning tasks when needed
  • Carrying out any other tasks as required

You will be on your feet for the majority of your shift so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
