We have an exciting opportunity for a Goods In Warehouse Operative to join our Elgin Team on a full time basis. Your main focus will be receiving and storing all of our raw materials in line with our Company guidelines. This is a permanent role, working 38 hours a week. These hours are: 8am - 4.30pm (Mon‑Thurs) / 8am - 2.30pm (Fri).

Responsibilities:

  • Driving forklifts (following training), including carrying out daily forklift safety checks and reporting defects when needed.
  • Handling pallets and individual cases of products with care.
  • Racking and de‑racking pallets of products using our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Preparing customer orders accurately, taking time and care to build products in a safe and stable manner and ensuring any special customer requirements are met.
  • Ensuring stock is correctly rotated.
  • Loading and unloading trailers and containers.
  • Carrying out stock checks.
  • Completing paperwork accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensuring good housekeeping and health and safety at all times, maintaining safe working practices and carrying out cleaning tasks when needed.
  • Carrying out any other tasks as required.

You will be on your feet for the majority of your shift so a good level of physical fitness is essential.
