We are seeking a skilled electrical engineer to join our Engineering Team in Elgin, to drive innovation and excellence by maintaining and optimising our food processing operations. We offer opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic food processing environment.
The Role
- Designing, developing and maintaining machinery and equipment used in food processing.
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues to ensure continuous production.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, safety and quality in food processing.
The Individual
- Qualified as an Electrician, or in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience in maintaining, improving and upgrading machinery in an industrial environment.
- Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and other relevant technologies is desirable.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach.
- Understanding of electrical drawings and engineering principles.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to join our maintenance team and contribute to delivering high quality food products to consumers worldwide. The role is full time, 38 hours per week and will be based at our Elgin Site.
