About The Role

We’re looking for an Ecommerce Operations Assistant to join our Ecommerce team, supporting the preparation, packing and despatch of web orders and mailroom samples to customers in the UK and internationally. You’ll work as part of a close‑knit, hands‑on team, ensuring orders are packed accurately, dispatched on time, and meet the high standards our customers expect.

Hours: 35 hours per week, 9am - 4:30pm (Mon - Fri). We're looking for someone who is willing to increase their hours during the busy periods (Oct - Dec), and flexible to cover holidays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, pack and despatch web orders and mailroom samples for UK and international customers.
  • Ensure parcels are packed to the required standard to meet customer expectations.
  • Process outgoing mail and parcels for various departments across the business.
  • Process orders accurately through courier systems.
  • Support internal departments with sample requests and despatch requirements.
  • Learn and use product codes for samples and customer orders.
  • Monitor, order and rotate stock as required.
  • Liaise with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, QA/NPD, Technical and Despatch.
  • Liaise with third‑party couriers when required and track time‑sensitive orders.
  • Support the creation of hampers and gift sets, particularly during peak periods.
  • Ensure all work is carried out efficiently, accurately and in line with required standards.

About You

  • Basic computer skills and confidence using systems.
  • Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling, packing and moving boxes.
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in accuracy.
  • A team player who works well in a small, busy environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good numeracy skills.
  • Self‑motivated, able to work under time pressure and use initiative.
