We have an exciting opportunity to join our Elgin Despatch Team on a full time basis. Your main focus will be responsible for the office duties covering couriers, enquiries, checking order progress with production, and arranging collections/hauliers. This is a permanent role, working 38 hours a week. Working hours: 08:00-16:30 (M-Th) / 08:00-14:30 (F).

Responsibilities include:

  • General administration duties within the department
  • Checking orders are progressing from initial production until despatch to meet despatch due dates on time, including liaising with internal departments
  • Arranging and producing despatch paperwork
  • Arranging for orders to be collated once complete with the warehouse staff and liaising with internal departments to allow the orders to despatch
  • Checking emails, responding as needed or highlighting to senior members of the department ones they need to deal with
  • Answering phone calls
  • Dealing with external suppliers as needed

  • Good IT skills preferable with Microsoft 360 package
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
