We are working with a well-established British precision engineering manufacturer with over 100 years’ experience in producing high-quality hydraulic components and assemblies. The business is seeking a Technical Manager to oversee the engineering function, ensuring designs are manufacturable, technically robust, and delivered to the highest standards. The role is hands-on and requires close engagement with customers and internal teams to deliver practical, precision-engineered solutions.
Responsibilities- Oversee the design, development and technical delivery of hydraulic components and assemblies
- Review engineering drawings, specifications and material selections
- Ensure machining tolerances, component performance and quality standards are met
- Liaise with production, quality and project teams to maintain delivery schedules
- Provide technical guidance and support to customers
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practice
