We are pleased to be working with a well‑established electrical engineering and switchgear manufacturer based in Dartford, Kent that is continuing to grow and is now looking to appoint an experienced Electrical Project Engineer on a permanent basis. This opportunity would suit a technically strong Electrical Project Engineer with previous experience working within LV switchgear, control panel manufacture, or bespoke electrical engineering environments. Exposure to HV installations and switchgear projects would also be advantageous.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from initial sales handover through to completion, ensuring all technical specifications, project timelines, and customer requirements are delivered to a high standard. The role involves close collaboration with clients, suppliers, and internal production teams while overseeing the design, build, installation, and commissioning stages of projects. Other key duties include interpreting engineering drawings and specifications, selecting suitable electrical components, and supporting factory production scheduling alongside wider engineering and manufacturing teams. Experience with FAT and SAT testing, site meetings, and producing method statements and risk assessments is highly beneficial.

Organised and proactive engineering professionals with strong communication skills and a practical understanding of electrical systems, switchgear manufacture, and project delivery within an industrial environment are encouraged to apply.
