Walker Workforce Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-renowned precision engineering company in the Brownhills area of Walsall. We are seeking an experienced Site Maintenance Operative to join an established on-site team.
The Role: Working on a static day shift (early finish on Fridays). You will assist with the movement and handling of materials across the facility whilst operating various machinery and equipment helping the team maintain production while keeping a clean safe working environment. There will also be an occasional requirement to drive a flatbed pickup vehicle for ad hoc collections and deliveries, therefore a full clean UK driving licence and experience of driving a company vehicle is crucial.
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar site maintenance / materials handling role
- Valid counterbalance forklift truck (FLT) licence
- Experience driving a company van/pickup
- Full, clean UK driving licence
Desirable:
- Experience operating an overhead crane (not essential)
- Side loader FLT experience (not essential)
