The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity to join a leading, award-winning house builder delivering high-quality residential schemes across the South East. As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll take commercial ownership of multiple housing developments, ensuring financial success from procurement through final account.

You’ll be part of an expanding commercial team with clear career pathways, excellent technical support, and the opportunity to work on large, community-focused developments.

Role Overview

You will be responsible for:

  • Preparing cost plans, budgets and measures for housing schemes.
  • Procurement of subcontract packages and contract negotiation.
  • Managing valuations, variations and monthly reports.
  • Final accounts, risk management and commercial forecasting.
  • Supporting site teams on progress, contractual compliance and costs.
  • Liaising with supply chain partners to ensure value and quality.
  • Client and stakeholder communication where required.

About You

  • Experience as a QS within residential or house building.
  • Understanding of commercial delivery on multi-plot developments.
  • Strong procurement, cost reporting, negotiation and measurement skills.
  • Confident working with subcontractors and site teams.
  • Clear communicator, commercially aware and proactive.
  • Full UK driving licence.
