Walker & Sloan are working with a leading construction business looking to bring an experienced Project Planner on board. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on large-scale projects with a mix of office, site, and remote working.

The Role

You’ll play a key role in planning and scheduling projects from tender through to completion, working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure smooth delivery. Your expertise will help drive efficiency, identify risks, and keep everything on track.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining project schedules to align with key deliverables
  • Collaborating with project teams to ensure robust scheduling and risk analysis
  • Supporting contractor claims management and integrating solutions across multiple projects
  • Providing detailed reports, including look-ahead schedules and data analysis
  • Implementing best practices for schedule management and reporting

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years’ experience as a planner, ideally on large-scale projects
  • Strong working knowledge of Primavera P6, ASTA, and MS Power BI
  • A solid understanding of construction planning and project management processes
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
  • Data centre experience is a bonus but not essential
