We are currently recruiting for an experienced Painter & Decorator to join a well‑established housing organisation delivering supported housing and community services in Plymouth. This is an opportunity to use your trade skills in a meaningful way, helping to create safe, welcoming and comfortable living environments for vulnerable individuals.

The Role

  • Carry out planned painting and decorating works across residential and supported housing properties, ensuring high standards of finish and compliance with maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete painting and decorating tasks in line with planned works programmes.
  • Prepare surfaces including cleaning, sanding and priming.
  • Apply paint, varnish and finishes using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Maintain high-quality workmanship with strong attention to detail.
  • Work safely and in accordance with health & safety regulations.
  • Conduct works in occupied properties with professionalism and respect.

About You

  • Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator.
  • Strong understanding of painting techniques, materials and preparation methods.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
