We are seeking an experienced Planned Maintenance Surveyor to join a well-established housing organisation operating across Dorset. This is a key role responsible for delivering planned maintenance programmes, with a particular focus on roofing works and contract management.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing planned maintenance programmes across a residential housing portfolio
- Producing scopes of work, schedules, and technical specifications
- Contract administration, cost control, and performance monitoring
- Carrying out site inspections and surveys to assess condition and lifecycle needs
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, building regulations, and organisational standards
- Liaising with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Managing customer expectations and resolving technical issues professionally
About You
- HNC (or equivalent) in a construction, building surveying, or related discipline
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in planned maintenance within housing or a similar environment
- Proven experience managing planned maintenance programmes, with strong emphasis on roofing contract management
- Sound knowledge of building construction, roofing systems, and maintenance best practice
- Experience administering contracts and managing contractor performance
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence (or ability to travel across Dorset)
