An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing property investment and management business supporting a large private residential portfolio across Yorkshire and the Northeast. This is a predominantly remote role offering a high level of autonomy, with the chance to take ownership of the lettings activity. You’ll play a key role in keeping properties occupied, maintaining compliance, and ensuring a smooth lettings process from enquiry through to move-in. This position would suit someone confident working independently, who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to take real responsibility for a portfolio.
The Role
- Oversee the day-to-day lettings activity across the portfolio.
- Manage enquiries, coordinate viewings, agree tenancies, and ensure properties are marketed effectively.
- Ensure all lettings processes are compliant with current legislation, maintain accurate records, and monitor performance across the portfolio.
- Regular travel for viewings, inspections, and inventories, typically 1–2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lettings process from enquiry through to tenancy agreement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Conduct rental valuations and provide advice for the portfolio.
- Ensure properties are marketed effectively to maintain strong occupancy levels.
- Coordinate and conduct viewings, inspections, and inventories.
- Negotiate tenancy terms and progress applications.
- Ensure all lettings activity is compliant with current legislation.
- Manage tenancy documentation, renewals, and required certifications.
- Maintain accurate records across internal systems.
- Produce regular updates on lettings performance and activity.
About You
- Experience within lettings.
- Strong understanding of lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills.
- Highly organised and able to manage a varied workload independently.
- Comfortable working remotely and travelling as required.
- Full UK driving licence.
Working Hours
- Full-time role with flexibility around working hours.
- Monday – Friday (No weekends).
- Travel required 1–2 days per week across Yorkshire and the Northeast.
