About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Multi Trade Operative to join our team in Central London. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a competitive salary and the chance to work across a variety of maintenance, repair, and refurbishment projects. You will deliver high-quality work across multiple trades, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining Health & Safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first and second fix carpentry and plumbing
- Perform painting, decorating, tiling, flooring, fencing, and minor masonry repairs
- Conduct repairs and installations in occupied properties with excellent tenant liaison
- Maintain accurate van stock and record materials used
- Undertake on-site risk assessments and report hazards
- Complete all documentation, including PDA updates, timesheets, and vehicle checks
Requirements
- City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in at least one trade (Plumbing, Carpentry, Painting & Decorating)
- Competency in general maintenance and repair work
- Knowledge of NHF Schedule of Rates codes preferred
- Experience working in social housing or domestic maintenance
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Full driving licence
