The Opportunity
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a long-established regional contractor with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects up to £2m across the South West.
You’ll take the lead on a range of refurbishment, fit-out, and small new-build schemes, managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring each is delivered safely, profitably, and to the highest standards.

Role Overview
As a Contracts Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Overseeing multiple live projects across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas.
- Managing programmes, budgets, and resources to ensure delivery on time and within cost.
- Leading and supporting site teams through all stages of construction.
- Working closely with clients, subcontractors, and consultants to maintain excellent relationships.
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures, H&S, and quality standards.
- Reporting project performance to senior management and directors.
About You
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Site Manager with a regional contractor.
- Background in general works, fit-out, or small works projects up to £2m.
- Excellent commercial awareness and a proactive approach to project delivery.
- Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage several jobs at once.
- Excellent communication and client-facing ability.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to multiple sites locally.
