The Opportunity

A fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a growing regional house builder delivering high-quality residential developments across Worcestershire and the surrounding areas. This role offers the chance to take full commercial responsibility for housing developments, working closely with land, technical and construction teams within a close-knit and supportive business. You’ll be involved from pre-construction through to final account, giving you real ownership and influence over your projects.

Role Overview

  • Managing the commercial delivery of residential developments.
  • Preparing budgets, cost plans and viability assessments.
  • Procuring subcontractors and managing tender processes.
  • Producing CVRs, forecasts and cost reports.
  • Managing valuations, variations and final accounts.
  • Supporting subcontractor management and payments.
  • Working closely with site, technical and land teams.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and programme.

About You

  • Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within house building or residential construction.
  • Strong understanding of commercial processes and subcontract procurement.
  • Ability to manage projects independently.
  • Commercially aware and detail focused.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Relevant Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent experience.
