Walker & Sloan are working with an outstanding specialist contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join one of the UK's most exciting live data centre developments. Our client has earned an exceptional reputation for delivering technically complex construction projects across the Data Centre, Defence and Energy sectors. With over 40 years of specialist expertise, they continue to deliver high-profile, mission-critical schemes for some of the world's leading organisations.

This opportunity will see you joining a flagship hyperscale data centre development in Acton, where you'll play a key role in delivering a landmark project within a collaborative and highly experienced site team.

The Role

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of designated work areas, ensuring construction activities are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, quality, and commercial objectives. Working alongside Senior Site Managers, Project Managers and specialist subcontractors, you'll coordinate site operations, manage resources, monitor progress, and maintain the high standards expected on a technically demanding project. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Manager looking to further their career on one of the UK's largest mission-critical developments.

About You

You'll have previous experience managing construction activities for a main contractor and be confident coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site teams to deliver work safely and efficiently. You'll possess a strong understanding of construction methodology, programme management, quality assurance and health & safety, with the ability to identify challenges early and keep projects moving forward. Ideally, you'll hold an ONC, HNC or equivalent construction-related qualification, together with a CSCS Managers Card and SMSTS certification. A First Aid at Work qualification would also be advantageous.
