A fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join a specialist contractor delivering projects across the defence, data centre and energy sectors. This role offers the chance to work on a varied portfolio of projects ranging from refurbishments and fit outs through to new build schemes up to £10m in value. You’ll play a key role in managing site delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard.
Role Overview
- Managing day-to-day site operations and subcontractors.
- Coordinating trades and project activities on site.
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely and in line with programme.
- Maintaining quality control and compliance standards.
- Delivering toolbox talks and site inductions.
- Managing site records, diaries and project documentation.
- Monitoring subcontractor performance and progress.
- Supporting procurement and material coordination.
- Liaising with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
- Managing health & safety and ensuring RAMS compliance.
About You
- Experience as a Site Manager within a contractor environment.
- Background in commercial, industrial, defence or data centre projects preferred.
- Strong understanding of construction methods and sequencing.
- Good health & safety knowledge and site coordination ability.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid essential.
