For my client - a well-established, highly regarded regional construction contractor based in Bristol. Are you a driven Site Manager with a strong background in refurbishment and extension projects? Do you enjoy working on technically involved schemes where organisation, leadership, and attention to detail really matter? I'm working with a respected regional contractor to recruit a Site Manager for a refurbishment and extension project in Cardiff. This business has a strong pipeline of work across the South West and Wales and is known for its hands-on leadership, quality delivery, and supportive culture.
The Role
- Day-to-day management of site operations
- Managing subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
- Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times
- Maintaining programme and driving productivity on site
- Quality control and coordination of works
- Liaising with the project team, client representatives, and consultants
- Managing site records, reporting, and snagging through to completion
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on refurbishment and/or extension projects
- Background working for a main contractor
- Strong understanding of health & safety and site procedures
- Ability to manage multiple trades in live or constrained environments
- Good communication and leadership skills
- SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid (essential)
