Role Overview
- Leading the commercial delivery of residential construction projects.
- Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts and monthly CVRs.
- Procuring subcontract packages and negotiating terms.
- Managing valuations, variations and payment applications.
- Supporting final accounts and commercial close-out.
- Identifying and managing commercial risk and opportunity.
- Working closely with Site Managers and Project Managers.
- Producing clear commercial reports for senior management.
About You
- Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor within a main contractor environment.
- Strong background in residential construction or housebuilding.
- Excellent understanding of JCT contracts and subcontract procurement.
- Confident managing projects independently from start to finish.
- Commercially astute with strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Clear communicator able to work collaboratively with site teams.
